Synopsis

Thoughts:
I was completely enthralled by Rebel in the Deep! The emotional depth of Nox’s character, especially their tumultuous relationship with the noble Lord Bastian, kept me hooked. I loved how Katee Robert masterfully wove together elements of fantasy, romance, and adventure to create a story that was both thrilling and heartwarming. The tension between Nox, Bastian, and Siobhan added layers of complexity to the plot, and I found myself deeply invested in their mission to rescue Bastian. I particularly enjoyed the balance and the action-packed moments with the more intimate, emotional scenes. Nox’s internal struggles and their journey to reconcile their feelings for Bastian and Siobhan were beautifully portrayed. The stakes were high, not just for the rebellion, but for the characters’ hearts as well, making the story even more compelling.
