Thoughts:

I found myself immediately drawn to Camille Ashwood’s story and her determination to rebuild her life in Meadowlark, Wyoming. I admired her courage as she faced the devastating reality of her groom not showing up and her plans falling apart. I could relate to her desire to secure her daughter’s future and start fresh, despite the challenges ahead.

I enjoyed the dynamic between Cam and Dusty Tucker. I could feel Dusty’s longing and his struggle to reconcile his feelings for the woman he’s been running from for years. I loved how their relationship unfolded with a mix of tension, nostalgia, and undeniable chemistry. I felt connected to their journey as they navigated past wounds and new emotions.

I appreciated how the story blended romance with personal growth. I felt invested in Cam’s efforts to stand up to her overbearing parents and carve out her own path. At the same time, I admired Dusty’s willingness to face his own fears and prove that he can stay and fight for their connection.

I found myself rooting for them as they questioned whether their first love could truly be their last. The emotional twists and turns kept me turning the pages, and I couldn’t stop wondering whether they’d find their happily ever after.
