Synopsis
Things have been going well for Vera since she solved her first case. She’s surrounded by family and friends, and her teahouse is doing well.
Things change when she comes across a distressed young woman who obviously needs Vera’s help. The woman is looking for her missing friend. Vera goes snooping in her police friends briefcase and learns about the case. Turns out the missing man is an influencer.
In a turn of events, Vera learns that the young man wasn’t exactly who he made himself out to be and he’s surrounded with smoke and mirrors. Who really was he? Can Vera figure it out while staying out of danger herself?
